HOTSpot COVID-19 Triage Tool
A tool developed in partnership with LAHSA (Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority) allowing outreach team members to conduct short surveys with people experiencing homelessness to find out about any symptoms they may be experiencing, any pre-existing health conditions they may have, and potential exposure risks. Based on the participant's responses, the application helps staff determine the appropriate path of care for the individual based on CDC/FEMA guidelines.
An accompanying web application allows admin users to easily track, interpret, and export data collected by field teams using the app. A GIS dashboard allows users to find "hotspots" of symptomatic cases, and informs appropriate regional distribution of resources.
